In areas where the skin is less hairy or glabrous, such as around the eyes, lips, mouth corners, nose, limbs, tail medial, labia, breast, scrotum, prepuce, etc., red spots appear, and hard round rashes with a diameter of 3 mm to 5 mm are quickly formed. . After about 6 days, the pimples increased, blisters formed, and the body temperature decreased slightly. After 2 to 5 days, the blisters became pus and body temperature increased again, generally lasting about 2 days. The last pustules dried up and turned into a dark brown moult. Some diseased sheep can also develop leg cramps, eyelids, cough, and diarrhea.
Prevention

Once sheep have been found in the sheep, sheep should be isolated immediately, or diseased sheep should be eliminated, and those who are not sick should be vaccinated urgently. Areas where sheep pox is endemic should strictly limit the delivery of sheep and all kinds of livestock products. Only when the last diseased sheep is cured for two months can the blockade be lifted.
2. To strengthen the feeding and management of diseased sheep (warmth, feeding digestible fodder, bedding, etc.), subcutaneous injection of 0.1% Chad alcohol, topical application of gentian violet or iodine, and mucous membrane cleaning with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution. And coated with iodine glycerol.
